After being successful in SUD treatment, you may find yourself wondering what is the next step.  Many clients have reported feeling like they are still missing something extremely important in life. Being connected to your community is a vital part of remaining drug and alcohol free.


We are able to offer the FULL class of necessary requirements to become a Peer Recovery Support Specialist! 


If you already have part of the courses met, then we can offer you the classes that you need to complete your requirements without duplicating your previous completed coursework.

COURSES

PRSS TRAINING CLASS

In order to set for the PRSS Certification Exam, a 46 hour class that teaches recovery coach basics and at least 16 hours worth of ethics, is required. Anchor is one of the original providers of Peer Recovery Support Services in the State of WV. We have quality instructors that are experienced in actual field services providing Peer Recovery Support to those that are seeking outpatient treatment or have been living in a residential recovery unit.

FULL CLASS - Basics and Ethics - 46 Hours One full week

$200

The complete 46 hours; including 30 hours of Recovery Coach Basics and 16 hours worth of Ethics.

Recovery Coach Basics

$100

30 hours of continuing education credits covering the basics of Peer Support in the Recovery Industries. 

16 Hours of Ethics

$100

30 hours of continuing education credits covering the basics of Peer Support in the Recovery Industries. This is an evening class.

Recovery Coach Recertification

100

Every two years a Recovery Coach must recertify by acquiring 20 Continuing Education Credits. This will be a 5 day event, four hours a day, Monday through Friday.  The student will have to  commit their morning for the education, and leave their afternoon and evening for work.

Ethics

This is divided into two parts so that you only take the amount that you need. Each part will offer 8 hours of CE credits. Each part will cost $100.00. Or if you are taking both parts consecutively then you will get the reduced rate of $180.00.

16 Hours of Ethics

$100

When offered together, it will fall on either a Mon and Tues; or a Thurs and Fri.

8 Hours of Ethics

$50

Can take either the Monday or Tuesday during the Week of Classes.

**IF YOU CHOOSE ZOOM, THEN THE CAMERA MUST REMAIN ON TO RECEIVE CREDIT**
